By working with Side Up Design (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Project Start & Payments
- 50% deposit required to begin any project.
- Remaining 50% due after final revision is complete.
- No files or designs released until full payment received.
All payments are non-refundable.
2. Ownership of Work
Side Up Design retains ownership of all work until final payment is received.
Once paid in full, ownership transfers to the client. Clients manage their own GoDaddy or hosting accounts after
completion.
3. Revisions & Timeline
- One round of revisions included.
- Extra edits: $50/hr or $25 for small changes.
- Typical turnaround: 3–7 business days after all content received.
4. Training & Courses
Workshops and tutorials are non-refundable. Group reschedules are at our discretion.
5. AI Assistance Disclaimer
We may use AI tools to refine text or generate placeholder copy. Final review remains the client’s responsibility.
6. Liability Limitations
We are not responsible for third-party issues (GoDaddy, printers, etc.).
Liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the project.
7. Termination
If a project is cancelled early, the deposit is non-refundable. We may terminate work for non-payment or lack of
communication.
8. Indemnification
Clients agree to hold Side Up Design harmless for claims or losses arising from provided content.
9. Governing Law
These terms follow the laws of the State of California, United States.
